I have a GC telling me our conduits and MC Cables must exit the wall at a 90 degree angle in order to be properly sealed. Does anyone know of any supporting documents for this?
Ask him what system they're using and then you can see if there is really an angle restriction.Just looking for any documents supporting the GC's claim. Thanks for the replies and opinions.
You could be right. I believe I've seen restrictions on this sort of thing. My guess the concern would be fire stopping where the radius of the 90 is in the wall surface as opposed to just the diameter of the conduit passing through the wall surface.
