One man shops for Industrial/Commercial?

I was wondering how a one man shop could do handling industrial service work. Most likely It won't be anything over 480v. Usually you need 2 guys to do most tasks. Can you guys think of any areas that a one man shop could be good at? I think trouble shooting and minor upgrades are the only areas. Items on the Van would be another question. With so many different equipment out there it would be hard to stock a van. Can anyone give some ideas on what to stock? What about rate? most likely this would be T&M for trouble shooting. How much would you charge if you get a call at 6pm? I think my old company was charging $110/hr for service calls. I guess I could just call my old boss up and ask him. I won't be his competitor sense I relocated. Any input would be great, or past post that would help.
