Hello
My apologizes in advance if I did not do enough research on the site to find the correct answer

Per code I need to add a power strip to a half island/peninsula on the other side of the kitchen
One side of the island is attached to wall by the window
On the right there is a fridge as shown below
I can get a 52" strip for this however I do not want to drill on the counter top
There is an outlet added per code to the right side wall

Is it per code to attach the power strip using corner braces inside the window sill?
I will add a corner brace on each side and then secure the 52" power strip to the braces
Picture is not my actual kitchen the counter top comes out over 12" from the cabinets below so I can't mounted under the counter top
I imagine installing the power strip with strong adhesive is out of the question

Thank you In advance
