online cirtification for 06A lic wa

i did not come accross any online education and testing for 06A programs for wa state. is there one available for myself where i have been in the HVAC buss for 40 years 10 of those in wa state. i am the owner and installer.

or do i have to close my doors and go to work for an electrical contractor to gather 4000 hrs.

You can take any class approved as electrical continuing education. It does not have to be specific for your certification as EL06A. You will need 24 hours to renew, of which 8 hours must be code update, 4 must be RCW/WAC update and the rest industrial. Many electricians will use First Aid/CPR to meet 8 hours of the industrial requirements. There are probably not many internet classes for EL06A, its not that big of a market. Keep in mind that since 2006, internet and correspondence courses in WA state are 200 questions for an 8 hour course.
Did someone tell you it has to be a class specific for EL06A?
I do have a class "Understanding HVAC Electrical", but there may be some changes in the WA State legislature this session on HVAC, its been tried for the last three sessions but hasn't passed, so I don't know if I will offer it soon.
CITC has a couple of classes for EL06A.
