Never lick an "open" neutral with your tongue when there is a load on the circuit to "check for safety". Use common sense, I you have it, it's better than the NEC sometimes. Just sayin' ;-)If a situation like the one shown in the picture occurs, Where the neutral conductor is open, so we no longer have an effective ground fault current path, how does the NEC guarantee safety?
