I'm a little confused between the demand factors stated in Articles 220.82 and 220.83. When does the 100% demand factor should be applied for the first 8kW of general loads and when should it be applied for the first 10kW?
They're both referring to existing systems, but 220.83 brings up the scenario of additional HVACs NOT to be installed...… so does the 100% factor on the first 10kW only applies when installing additional HVAC's? It's just not very clear to me.
Please advise.
