Is anyone interested in tutoring via email? It needs to be someone who has tested in OR, or who knows the requirement for OR.

Im willing to pay, within reason. I have taken a class recently but even the instructor cant quite understand some of the tests. I have sample calcs with answers, I'm close! But still missing what OR wants!

Thanks!

I just took a prep class from the man who wrote a majority of the tests the State is still using. It was a ton of info in a short 40 hr class.
Something I noticed on your other posts that wasn't done is on all lighting loads other than dwelling you need to add an additional 25% (on the ungrounded phases only) on to the calculated VA for continuous load.

So you have your sq ft x your va/sq ft (per the table). That give you your grounded load. Then add 25% and that gives you your load on each ungrounded phase.

Thanks for the info did he give you any info on single phase loads on a three phase service. Multi family with single phase loads but service is 3 phase .
according to our instructor we have to do some very specific things on the line to line loads such as range dryer ect when calculating those loads for the calculated load on a 3 phase service. Any ways thanks for the tips

Yes on every calc he had us literally draw out a panel schedule showing all three phases and the 3 neutrals associated with each phase to keep track of total imbalance. All calcs were kept in amps except for all resi which is done in va.
