I'm interested in learning more about the history of Oregon and Massachusetts approach to GFCI in the OSEC: anyone a local expert?
Is there anyone collecting or analyzing data or statistics on the impacts of these moves?
Oregon Electrical Specialty Code drops GFCI or non-adopts a variety of sections.
For Massachusetts:
Please be advised that effective January 26, 2023, there has been an emergency amendment
made to the existing Massachusetts Electrical Code (527 CMR 12.00) ...
This approach uses as its inspiration the assured equipment grounding conductor approach in
590.6(B)(2).
