We are selling our home. The outdoor, gas fired, on-demand water heater is plugged into a GFCI outlet. The home inspector said it must be hardwired. I somewhat argued that I would then have to provide a local means of disconnect and a GFCI feeding the circuit (feed through, load side of GFCI receptacle, or breaker). Do these have to be hardwired?
Thanks!!
