Good Morning Gentlemen
I have a Dual element 5000 Watt heater we are installing. This unit has a primitive controller that works with a Numbered dial but is basically just a time delay relay that cycle the single phase 240 feed on and off. THe controller has 2 dials one for each element. The wiring is about 20 feet from the load side of each element relay to the heater with the (2) independant 2500 watt elements. My question is I have 10 awg on a 30 amp breaker running to the controller which then pigtails to feed the line side of both dials. Am I permitted to run 12 from the load side of each dial to each element??
Thanks
