Looking for suggestions on spotting/flooding up a wall on the outside of a residence.
Will be shining up on aan area about 8' wide on the second floor.
The owner thinks it might look cool.::-?

I recently did lighting for a 30 foot flag pole an the fixtures came with the pole kit ( well light fixtures ) an there was 2 fixtures 120 v with 75 watt halogen lamps with them with glass lens and it lit up that flag an pole really nice so 120v fix is another option.

If there is adequate room in the overhang I would install cans in the soffit with a regressed eyeball trim. If you are trying to do this from the ground then, IMO, that is too high to light from down there. Plug a flood lamp in and try it at night-- bring different bulbs with you.

When I had a situation like that I rigged up a standard flood with a cord and plug and left it for the homeowner to play with at night. You may want some narrow spots.
