I have restaurant that has outdoor menuboard sign for drive thru. They have two conduits incoming into the sign. One conduit is power from menuboard sign from inside panelboard and another is with pull string for future communication menuboard sign.
The designer provided switch for the sign next to the sign itself which disconnect conduit power conductors however nothing for the other conduit that has pull string.
Would disconnect be required for other pull string conduit or not? Read NEC 2014 section 600.6 but not sure
