Outdoor Receptacle Box

I prefer the aluminum FS or FD boxes. Have used cast iron FS boxes. I installed an Aluminum Killark FS on front & rear concrete walls of my house over 45 years ago. At least once every 5 years they get covered with snow for a week or longer. Maybe every 6 to 8 years I open them up and never found any water or bugs. Used expensive Hubbell marine grade yellow flip covers and neeverseeze compound on the 6-32 SS screws. I stay away from flimsy gem outdoor boxes that the big box stores sell. Always leak water and not very sturdy. Never know how they got away with only using the single screw to secure flip top covers and think it would keep rain out.
