Outdoor recepticles being placed behind doors

I have a situation at work where the customer is basically demanding the outolets in a location that places them behind 2 doors (one on each side of our structure). We build generator houses for multiple companies and sometimes they are considered in the mobile home section. I am just making sure that we are not violating code when placing them behind the doors.

Are they "behind a door" when the door is open?
Are you talking about the power inlet receptacle for a backup generator?
or are you talking about a large generator fitted inside of an old mobile home trailer for transport like in a semi-trailer and unsure what type of outlet your talking about?
unfamiliar with term "generator house" are they like pets?
