I have a farm type client and we intend to install three skid mounted fuel dispensing tanks/systems. Two diesel, 960 gal/1300 gal. and one gasoline, 250 gal. The tanks are complete units with pumps, filters etc. They require 120 vac service. Not having any haz. location experience, and becoming quite crossed eyed trying to decipher art. 500, I would be gratefull for any help.

1. Can I simply install threaded rigid conduit, underground from the distribution panel to the fueling area.
2. Seal offs as I emerge from the underground into an XP j-box, then sealtight from the XP j-box to the factory supplied conection point on the pumps.
3. can i use THHN conductors.

I do apologize for such a question but I just don't have any experience in this particular section of the code.

Thank you again.

Yes,yes, and no. Seal of at the panel also. You can run PVC underground after 10' of ridged. Thwn for wet location. Emergancy shut off 20' from pumps.
