Customer requested some security lights outside building (old Gym) after some break-ins.
He wants about three lights(double bulb,100w,150w or similar) about 20ft high, but he wants to have them in a way that when any one of them lights sense a motion, then turns the other two on.
Now would i need some lights with sensor and interconnection feature (like smoke alarms)?
Or i would have to make them up myself, (like get three sensors and three lights separated)
Everything will be in EMT and wheather proof boxes.
Thanks.

I think I saw that the manufacturer RAB has it where you can interconnect the fixtures. Not certain but, might be worth checking into?

Get the flood light with the sensor. If you look inside you will see how the wiring is connected. Power guess in to the sensor,it closes the circuit when its trigger and pwr continues to the lamp. So from the switch leg from the sensor connect the lights. walla

How ever if you need multiply location you can get occupancy sensor, they have every thing you need. They connect on a 24v circuit. It sends a signal to all locations. You will need a pwr pack that does the switching. Works better and I recommend it.. Make sure that they are WP

that will work as long as the total combined wattage of all the fixtures doesnt exceed what the sensor can handle.

I can't do that cause i need three different sensors sensingthree different locations, but all lights need to come on by any of the three sensors.
I guess i can go with the other individual sensors you suggested, do you recomend any in particular.

Occupancy sensor are tied together. They speak to each other. One end of the sensor connects to the power pack. The power pack has the HR feed for the lights, and it also has the switch leg for the fixtures. So when the sensor goes of it sends a signal to the power pack to close and power up the fixtures.
