Outside taps

I have been told a tap must not exceed 10 feet, but I see the NEC allows for unlimited length for outside taps, as long as the tap wires terminate in a breaker. Any issues with backfeeding a breaker in a panel that feeds a couple more breakers?

Read art. 408.36(D). Perfectly legal but you need a retainer clip to hold the breaker in the panel.

Looks good as long as you follow 240.21 (5) 1-4. Back feeding the breaker is OK as long as it is suitable for back feed.
