Why do they bother printing this information?
Contractor says he can put this on a 40 amp 2 pole breaker, with number 8 thhn
Instructions say its ok, they read it, and don't see a problem "the oven works fine"
The spec sheet shown is for a range not just an oven. A 40 amp circuit would be correct size for the 14.3kw nameplate range. See 220.55 for sizing range circuits.
