I'm trying to figure out the system grounding resistance on a stretch of distribution line.
I know I need 4 ground rods per mile. This will be over about 5 miles. I have the resistance of each individual rod.
I have the grounding system resistance the substation is designed for.
I have the conductor resistance over a distance.

Is the overall system grounding resistance just: 1/R=((1/resistance single ground rod)*number of ground rods)?
