I’m attending an Electrician school in my area, and had the following question on a test. I discussed it with the instructor and still not clear of the correct answer(s):
Question: Branch circuit distribution equipment shall be installed in each mobile home and shall include:
1. Overcurrent protection for each branch circuit
2. Circuit breakers
3. Fuses
4. All of the above
2020 NEC Article 550.11(B) Branch-circuit distribution equipment shall be installed in each mobile home and shall include overcurrent protection for each branch circuit consisting of either circuit breakers or fuses.
My answers were 2 and 3. Reading NEC, I do not see a separation using a comma or semicolon after “….branch circuit.” I see overcurrent protection as a procedure, not as equipment. Breakers, fuses, GFCIs, etc., as provided in Article 240.6.
Need additional clarification.
Thanks Everyone
