Overhead Conductors

I am upgrading overhead conductors that are coming from the back of a dwelling' attic space and (has 10ft vertical clearance ) into the attic space of a granny unit; however, a studio type structure with a shed type roof has been attached in front of the of the granny unit and the overhead conductors do not have the 8ft clearance across it (about 10 ft.). Do I have to run the new conductors underground per NEC 230.24(A)

its a better install under ground especially when you consider 352.12(D) But you can suspend feeder wires aerially if that is what you are asking.
