I am working on a medium voltage distribution project "study phase" at an industrial facility. Utility power is brought into a set of exterior mounted switchgear at 34.5kv that feeds various non-utility transformers serving buildings in the complex. I need to come up with a cost, rough estimate, to distribute a new overhead line of 34.5kv to a new transformer to serve a new group of buildings.
I am wondering if anybody knows a cost per foot to distribute overhead at 34.5 Kv with 30' poles and rated for at least 250A. Any rule of thumb or budgetary numbers out there?
I usually use RS means for these estimates, but can't find a simple number per foot.
Thanks
