Overhead service drop parallel conductors.

Does anywhere in the NEC prohibit using parallel conductors to a weather head for a overhead service drop.

I have a single phase 120/240v multifamily dwelling and the customer already has 2/0 conductors. Can I just place them in parallel in a single conduit to a weather head and have the utility bring in a service drop. Will the inspector approve this?

I don't see a problem as long as you have the proper weatherhead for the number of conductors and you derate for more than 3 CCC's in the single raceway.
