Overload protection for 120V motor

I couldn't post on existing post - Overload protection for 120V motor (http://forums.mikeholt.com/showthread.php?t=123297) so I opened new one.


Jraef in above mentioned post have mentioned that you can use manual motor starter that has a built-in over load protection (assume that motor doesn't have any built in protection). I wasted many hours but couldn't find "manual motor starter that with a built-in over load protection" for 0.5 HP motor with 4.2A FLA. Does it still exist on a market?

what voltage 240?
1/2 hp 4.2 A 120 vac does not sound right
nec table is 9.8 A
