Oversized/Undersized for Pump/Lighting/Control Circuits

Hello,

I have a project I that a coworker is working on that I would like to have checked - some of the protection/wire sizes given in the prints look like they are undersized or oversized. I mostly work on protective relays, so this is not my expertise. I was hoping to have help with this as the coworker is newer and has asked for my help on the project.

I can already see that the grounding conductor on the 10HP motor (EGC PUMP) is too small. The Pump Starter looks like it should be a NEMA Size 1, not 2. And the control wiring may be oversized? Can anyone confirm these suspicions and find any other mistakes? It has been a while since I had to thumb through the NEC and don't have a book on hand (I know I can get it free online somewhere).

I have included the drawing provided to me as a PDF Link. Some notes that are not included is the EGC Pump and HID Pump lighting are both continuous loads and the control circuit is 850 Watts.

Final Detail

Best,
Becca

I think I agree that the #10 EGC ran with a 70A feeder is too small.
The motor conductors are likely fine, but unconventional - why different sizes before and after the disconnect? If the upsizing to #8 is due to voltage drop, the EGC must be upsized accordingly.
