wiring a paint storage room aprox. 15' x 15' I know the wiring required inside but how close can I come with wiring to its door on the outside of the room non hazardous wiring is it just like a paint spray booth ?
How has the storage area been classified and by whom? You may fall under 515 of 2002 NEC. At any rate in both 515 (bulk storage) and 516 (spraying, dipping and coating) there are numerous references to NFPA documentation. Have you talked to the AHJ? Sorry I can't be of more help, there just isn't enough info supplied and it might be dangerous to simply go by advice offered here anyway.
