Do have this MDP panel right next to (5) branch panelboards. (3) on one wall & (2) on another.

They are all being feed with the same size conduit and wire? 2”- 4#3/0 and 1#6.

I’m think each of these wouldn’t be feed point to point with a separate conduit. Maybe a conduit(s) to a trough above then nipple down or something similar? Make sense?

Not that I’m pricing it that way just curious what you field guys think?

I would say pricing it both ways would be the main reason for choosing, and perhaps aesthetics second.

I like to use gutters where ever possible. They are great for updates to wiring, etc and only have to derate when have more than 30 conductors at any cross sectional area.
For this application, I would suggest 8x8 gutters with 2 2" nipples for each panel. It would be very clean to get the feed in the slab to each panel, and use the gutter for load wiring

Thanks again and good to know about derating in a gutter/trough. Why (2) 2" to each panel. Each panel only calls for (1) 2"?

Based on adds to installs I have done. One 2" is OK, but a 2" on each side would line up with the side gutters in each panel. Also depends on the occupancy, what would be added later into those 2" Conduits
