PANEL FIRE RATINGS

1. Are the enclosures of panels fire rated?

2. Are they part of a fire rated assembly?

Such as metallic boxes have a 2 hour fire rating.

3. Can panels be installed in a fire rated wall assembly?

'nope' on all counts. We've always had to mount panels ON a fire rated assembly, and not recessed in it because it exceeds the maximum square inches and doesn't have an express fire rating.
