Panel in Pool equipment room

I have a few questions if someone could please answer. THanks

1. Does the sub panel in a pool equipment room in a custom home need to be rated for a hazardous location?
2. Just to verify I need to have an insulated ground with my feeder cable for the sub panel

No it does not need be hazard location, however a pool panel in the pool room is a major mistake , IMO. I would use a WP panel if I were doing it as the chemicals will eat up the panel.
