panel load calculations

I am assessing the load on a 100A MCB 120/208v single phase 3 wire panel...The panel schedule shows a stove being protected by a 50A 2 pole breaker, with 38.5 amps being shown on each "pole"... Is the load on the panel 38.5 or 77 amps?

To that I will add that the 38.5 amps that leave the panel on one pole of the two-pole breaker will return to the panel on the other pole. It is the same current.
