Can anyone tell me what the code says about panels located in closets, that will contain files cabinets. I know there is somehing in the code about combustibles. I left my code book at work!

The code section I believe you are refering to is 240.24(D). This section states that OCD shall not be in the vicinity of easily ignitible materials, and then goes on to give an example of clothes closets.

Not knowing the exact specifics of the closet and all that will be stored there, it is hard to say if this section applies to your installation.

I would imagine working space clearances and issues of this nature would be more of a concern.
