Panel replacement

I have a bunch of panels to replace. Are there any manufactures that make the guts to fit inside of the existing panel can. I could win the job by saving a lot of time not having to cut out every panel can. I know that I would be dealing with code and UL listings, but I am hopeful there is a company that makes the guts to fit that will allow the UL listing to be upheld. Anyone have any other thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks,

I don't do much residential but, I've seen it on the counter at the parts shop:

Eaton BR Renovation Loadcenter

You are still replacing the whole panel but their design is supposed to make it easier, faster, neater, supposedly.

Do your homework but "stay legal". Take notes and contact manufacturers for availability of parts--you must maintain UL listings and can't interchange other manufacturer's parts. I do not think you will find a "universal' solution.

Cutler hammer does make a retro fit panels.
You would need to call the your Cutler hammer supplier. sometimes if the panel box is to small then they Can not make a replacement panel. you will need to provide the exact dimensions of the panel . length X widith X depth. the original panel manufactures name and the number of spaces and amps required.

They are not cheap.

I had a quote from Ch to replace a FPE 30 ckt MLO . cost was Around $325.00 you might be able to get a small discount if you have multiple panels. you might still be better of on spending the labor compared to the cost of a retro fit kit.panels.

Was involved in a job where the manufacture came out and did all the home work to get replacement guts with proper covers. And to boot everything worked out FOR ONCE.

i dont think the retrofit panels are cost effective unless you are dealing with a situation where the wall cannot be disturbed (80 year old granite slabs, irreplaceable gold leaf wallpaper, etc)
