I have a existing residential panel in an apartment complex. The panel is a feed thru type
( common riser feeds several apartments in the same line, and riser is taped to feed main lug only panel ) I ran out of breaker space, and replacing the panel is not an option. I added an additional panel near the existing panel. Can I run branch circuits from the new panel thru the old panel? This would be to pull additional lines thru existing conduit. Also is splicing of branch circuit wires permitted in a panel?
