Panelboard Mounting Height

Thare are no rules about panelboard height. Put one right up against the ceiling, if you like. However, just make sure you don't put any overcurrent devices inside it. :grin:

The related rule is 240.24(A). The handle of a breaker, when it is in its highest position, cannot be more than 6'7" off the floor.
