In Barbados when a panel is installed we have to label each cable in the panel with a number ..this includes earths , neutral and phase conductors as well as the breakers for each circuit. All cable sizes must be listed next to the circuit on the schedule. This schedule must be posted in the panel cover. Is this a must in the USA

Also is combination meters used in the USA . i.e. Meter with disconnect on main entrance

This is more than the NEC requires, however I have seen engineering specs come close.

The NEC article 408.4 requires a legible directory of the circuits.
