Panelboards

I have 277/480V three phase system and panelboard being used is 120/208V three phase 240V rated. I said to get the panelboard to match system voltage however I got stare saying where it is in code. I researched in NEC 2014 section 408 and did not find it. Is this in code?

All the Code has to say is the voltage must not exceed the equipment rating.
You're good to go.

No that’s is correct plans do show that way and when asked to provide 480V panelboard since they don’t match was told where in code this is.
