Where in the code does it talk about not being able to run conductors thru a panelboard to a seperate panel? I am having a hard time finding the article. Does that apply to a sub panel? If I have 2 panels side by side and the 1st panel is MCB with feed thru lugs and the 2nd panel is MLO both panels are for lights and recepts. Am I able to bring u/g conduit into the bottom of panel 1 and use a chase nipple to get to panel 2, then pull wires from the u/g conduit thru the chase to panel 2 and be ok. We will pull the Neutral, and Ground for each CKT to the panel where the breaker is located.
