Besides a lug being listed for more than a single conductor, is there any code reference to allow parallel conductors to be terminated under the same lug?

NEC 110.14(A) does not specifically say anything about parallel conductors, is this to be implied that ANY conductor single or paralleled, can be terminated no more than one to a lug unless it is identifed as such
