parallel conductors

Yes had a fellow worker ask me what is the smallest parallel conductor that u can use? I wasnt sure i told him 1/0 wire, was I wrong?

Per 310.4 of the NEC, 1/0 AWG and larger can be connected in parallel, however, there are 4 exceptions that allow smaller conductor sizes.

Thanks Gravity! I read 310-4 in its entirety very helpfull info. I must apologize though I could have if not been lazy found this info myself in the NEC index. Reason I didnt is I just found this site and I think its so cool and I love asking questions and getting responces.
