Long run! I have never done this one before. I need to run 400cm to stay within 3%. I can deal with that. To do this with parallel conductors in the same conduit. For ampacity I have done this on motors. For VD I have not. It makes sence that it will work.
How in the world am I going to put this much wire into a 150A breaker?
They want it all underground and they want me to come up into two smaller panels before I get to the 150a panel.
Over head is out of the question!

Is this a Service or a Feeder?

Splice and pigtail?

Will this feeder(?) also supply these "smaller" panels?
Do you mean to bring 400mcm cables in and out of two "smaller" panels? How small is "smaller"?

Steve, It is a feeder. The service is 200A. The reason for the 150A panel is the extra spaced.
The smaller panels are to be used for a yard water display, pond , lighting will be one stop.
The second panel will be a deck going out over a pond. Lighting, water pumps, ceiling fans.
None of these small stops will be very big. I will have to make the boxes larger.

If it was up to me I would come up out of the ground into a good sized pull box, inside the pull box I would install the needed size of distribution block to change over from the two sets of 400s to one run of your choice.

Of course the one in the picture is the wrong size but if you go to www.ilsco.com you can find what you need.
