Parallel feeds to different panels

When using a 320 meter base or a ct cabinet to feed two different panels, I've heard guys say they have fed, say, a 200A and a 100A panel off the meter base or ct cab. Code requires parallel conductors to be the same size and length. Even though these feeds are coming off the same lugs, are they not considered parallel because they are going to two different panels? Any thoughts?

These are not parallel conductors, to be parallel conductors they would have to terminate together at both ends.

310.4 Conductors in Parallel
Aluminum, copper-clad aluminum, or copper conductors of size 1/0 AWG and larger, comprising each phase, polarity, neutral, or grounded circuit conductor, shall be permitted to be connected in parallel (electrically joined at both ends).

The conductors don't start and end at the same place, so they can't be "parallel."

I do this type of install all the time when I build stanchions for pump panels of different sizes. Just make sure the wire matches the lugs.
