Parallel Feeds

At what size feed does it make sense to run parallel conductors to motors.
It seems from what I recall anything above 250MCM should consider running parallel feeds. What about the ecconmic factor also

Normally we don't parallel till we pass 500 Kcmil. Certainly there are exceptions to that, some jobs layout better with multiple smaller conduits.
