Parallel power inlet with interlocks ?

Is there anything that prohibits using one power inlet for portable standby power paralleled to two panels? I would be converting MLO's to MCB's and installing interlocks on both.

No prohibition that I know of. And since it will be a manual transfer there is no generator sizing or load shedding requirement.

I plan on printing some instructions to put in the doors on which breakers to shut off (HVAC & pool) and how to operate the interlocks...... they have gas for appliances and WH.
