Does anyone know if i could put 2 thermostats in parallel to control my heat? I keep my house at 69 degrees. As the house cools down my 10 month old daughters room gets to 66 before any other room hits 68. Im wonderin if I add a t-stat in her room if it would help. I have an extra one laying around and wire is easy to get. I dont feel like adding another zone to my hot water heat boiler because Id need to rework the manifold and im an electrician not a plumber.

Don't your radiators have adjustment valves on them? That's what they're for.

Otherwise, when the baby's room cools off, the other rooms will get too warm.

how about a thermostat with a remote temperature sensor? Robertshaw 9700i T-stat + 9020i remote sensor is a combo that comes to mind. It will average the temp between what the thermostat sees and what the remote sensor sees.

Sure you could... but then the other rooms will get hotter that you want... or upon actually reading the other posts... what Larry said.

give your daughter another blanket and tell her to spend less time in her room and more time with the family.

(just joking)
