Code requires Single conductors shall be securely bound in circuit groups to prevent excessive movement due to fault-current magnetic forces unless single conductors are cabled together, such as triplexed assemblies per 392.20. Since the NEC nor a manufacturer doesn't tell us how to do it, it seems almost unenforceable.
It could be done with spaghetti every 36" and nobody could say it isn't right.
Doesn't anyone know if the code making process have had any ROPs or ROCs about prescriptive methods or making a listing required for straps or cleats at some specified distance? Or is it only if there is a contractual mandate by an engineer does it end up with something robust?
