Anyone have any insight of where to get info on light pole installation? I need to get info on specks for pouring the base (re-bar, depth, width and so on). They will be 16 foot poles with base 4' out of the ground. Also is there an average for trenching cost?
Thanks

I personally would get quotes from a professional concrete guy to do the bases give them the bolts and templates.
you will be busy trenching and pipping
but thats just my opinion

You will need the manufacturer's specifications/information, contact them for specifications necessary. Then you may be interested in pricing it out.

also, depending on where you live, the local jurisdictions may have something to say: around here, some towns have requirements that are more stringent than the minimum engineering specs. required by the mfg.

Isn't there a guy by that specializes in this by you. Over here we have a few guys that this is all they do is make property boxes, vaults, light pole bases ........

As they stated above.
It will depend were you are located, wind load in your area, soil and etc.

(The best bet is to contact the lighting post manufacture and find out what they specs are, and give the template, bolts to a concrete base company that specializes in bases.)

My opinion too, don?t temp to pour the concrete yourself

Good Luck.
