What is your opinion on a parking lot monument sign being fed from a light pole. A small kva step down xfmr is fed out of a parking lot light pole that is near the sign. The xfmr is on the same circuit as the parking lot light poles. code compliant or not. No disconnecting means within sight of sign but a plaque is on sign stating where parking lot lights are fed from.

if the circuit can handle the added load no problem. Still need a disconnect within sight of the sign per requirements in art 600.
