Just remember that you can never stop learning. Read trade magazines, continue to participate here, help others learn (that is where I learned the most, trying to stay ahead of a bunch of apprentices for eight years), ask questions, do not be afraid to say, "I don't know, will you explain it to me?", and work hard. Remember, luck doesn't just happen, you have to make it happen and be ready to open opportunity's door. Again, congratulations!

I teacch third year for the local apprentiship here in Florida IEC West coast chapter and to say the least they keep me on my toes so I am looking forward to bragging to my class. They really get something out of knowing I am only 29 and making a decent living and no longer best friends with the chipping hammer

Their is a post application to complete as well. As annoying, if not more than in order to recieve your license. I forget a lot of the details because I used an expediter (cost about $1200), but it was just as in depth as the initial app. If you want to use your license to qualify anything you must show all kinds of proof of insurance (workers comp, liability) and company info etc etc.
