Passed Michigan Journeyman's Exam

Finally got my test results back, and I scored a 95%. I figured I had passed, but I didn't seriously think I did that well. Michigan makes you wait up to 30 days for your results, so I was quite anxious to get that monkey off my back.

This forum has been an invaluable resource to me, and I am greatly appreciative for everyones help. Now I just need to find a job! :grin:

I was pretty sure I passed, but you know how doubt likes to creep in.

Congrats, now you can get in line for work. How many on the books at old local 58 these days? When I left it was around 1,500 waiting for jobs.

It's great you passed, now if you can find work in a decent shop that will be the icing on the cake. If you are non union and going out on your own, get ready to compete with all the 'trunk slammers" who are working out of their02' lLumina's for $10/hr. Good Luck.

Congrats! I think that everyone that has ever taken an exam has had doubts about the result either they thought it was to hard and were worried or it seemed to easy and thought they may have overlooked something.

Normally the first year you turn out is going from the "world's smartest apprentice", to s'the world's dumbest journeyman". With a 95% you may skip the dumb step-out stage theough.
