Wow, what a tool for electricians. I used a carpenters Passlode today, he let me try it out and recommended I get one, for stubing and blocking. Wow. Saves so much time and you can get them refurbished for 160 bux, or 350 brand new.

Re: Passlode Gun

I use mine all the time for blocking. Such a time saver. They won't work well when it gets cold, the propane stops working. But what a great tool. Safety glasses and earplugs.

Re: Passlode Gun

I love mine. It is one of the better investments I have made tool wise. Haven't had any problem with the cold affecting the performance. Did you mean like when it gets down to 75 degrees or so? :D

Re: Passlode Gun

I have one on the truck as well.
I have done several log cabins and the spacing on the floor joists is too great to hang cans. I've had to block out for 6 cans and a fan in several bathrooms.
Great time saver, even if they are a bit pricey. Fun too.
